Super League Schedule Change

The Super League schedule has been updated.  The only difference is that we have six games instead of seven (the 12/10 game has been canceled).   Our first super league game is still Sunday (12/4) 8:30 p.m. against Our Lady of Peace at Island Garden.

Fall Super League

The Island Garden Super League schedule has been posted.  Our first game is Sunday December 4th.

The 2011-2012 CYO schedule is now available.  Our first game is Saturday Nov. 19th! 

Practice Schedule

Until you hear otherwise, we will have two practices each week:

(1) Tuesdays* 8:30-9:30 p.m. at FPM; and

(2) Thursdays 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. at OLV.

*We understand that boys who have religion on Tuesday may be late to practice.

Congratulations to all the boys on making the team.  This blog will be updated with practice times and locations as well as the CYO schedule when we receive it.

Our first practice of the 2011-2012 season will be held Tuesday 9/27 from 8:30-9:30 p.m. at Floral Park Memorial.

Basketball This Week (2/7-2/13)

Three things:

1. Doug was able to secure gym space so practice is rescheduled for Saturday 2/12 at St. Hedwigs from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
2. Game at St. Kilian Sunday 2/13 1:00 p.m.  Directions are on the team website.
3. We are considering entering the team in a basketball tournament the weekend of February 26/27 (the weekend at the end of the February break).  E-mail Neil to let him know if your son would be available to participate.  Details will follow once we determine if we have enough players to field a team.   

GAME Tuesday instead of practice

The 6th grade boys "A" team from St. Helens has agreed to travel to OLV to play our team during our scheduled practice time.  Please have your son wear his uniform.  This should help us get ready to play St. Agnes on Saturday.

Tough Weekend

Tough loss this weekend but, unlike the Jets, our team still has the opportunity to bounce back! Here's the schedule for this week:

1. Practice Tuesday (1/25) from 6:30-8:00 pm at OLV.
2. Practice Thursday (1/27) from 8:30-9:30pm at Floral Park Memorial in the back gym. 
3. CYO Game Saturday 5:00 pm against St. Agnes at OLV. Please be at the gym by 4:30 pm.

 

Schedule 1/17-1/22/11

For SuperLeaguers -- Game tonight (Monday 1/17) at Island Garden starts at 7:20. Please be there by 7:00 pm.

No practice Tuesday. This week's practice will be on Thursday (1/20) from 8:30-9:30pm at Floral Park Memorial in the back gym.

CYO Game Saturday (1/22) at 2:45 against St. Marys at Manhasset.
